I teach improv quilting as a heart-centered, creative life practice. I love sharing the joy and liberation of improv quilting with my students.
I offer a unique multi-disciplinary approach to improvisational patchwork and abstract quilting. I teach students how to harness their emotional energy, and help them define frameworks for flexible patterns that support their curiosity and creative flow. I invite participants to channel their experiences of improvising in their daily lives into their quilting and vise versa.
Participants gain a comprehensive set of ruler-free piecing techniques, mind tools for accessing creativity, and a broader understanding of the improvisational process as expressed through the art and craft of quilt making.
